Dear Readers,

I’m overjoyed to announce that CRUEL SUMMER, the first novel in my FAST GIRLS, HOT BOYS series for MTV Books, is off to a fantastic start.  Sales are strong, it has gone back to print for another press run, and THE NEW YORK POST placed it on their "Hot List" in March, calling it "pure, trashy brain candy."  Hoorah!  The best compliment ever.

This summer, CRUEL SUMMER will be featured as part of a "Beach Reads" givaway in the June/July issue of COSMOGIRL, just in time for the August release of BLING ADDICTION.  I've been receiving emails from readers, and everybody is screaming for BLING ADDICTION to find out what happens to Vanity, Dante, Max, Pippa, and Christina.  Well, I just finished proofing the galleys for that book, so it is definitely on the way!

Other than slaving away on my books, I've been exercising like a fiend to get ready for summer and frantically trying to keep track of all my TiVo recordings. I'm obsessed with PRISON BREAK, 24, the remaining episodes of ALIAS, as well as DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and GREY'S ANATOMY. Yes, I am a television junkie, hopelessly enabled by that TiVo machine!

Remember, after CRUEL SUMMER comes the shocking BLING ADDICTION and, finally, the explosive BEAUTIFUL DISASTER. It’s an exciting year under the MTV Books banner, and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
